Message from the President

Lodge 23 President Jim Crace

I would like to take a moment to welcome you to the Glacial Lakes Lodge / MN FOP #23 website. The Glacial Lakes Lodge covers a large geographical area which covers 7 counties in West-Central Minnesota; Swift, Pope, Chippewa, Stevens, Lac qui Parle, Big Stone and Traverse. Our lodge currently has 37 members and 4 associate members and is growing year by year. We meet on the first Tuesday of each month, usually at 7 pm. We rotate the meeting locations in order to give each county a chance to host occasionally.

Annually, our lodge hosts a Longest Tail Feather – Pheasant Tournament, which is very unique and represents the heritage of our region of Minnesota. C’mon out and participate in the event next fall. If you decide to attend this event; you will experience great hunting, great prizes, great people and incredible fellowship. This event is our annual fundraiser; we use the proceeds of this fundraiser to fund annual lodge operations. More importantly, these funds are available to help law enforcement officers or the families of law enforcement officers when they are in need.

I am incredibly honored to be the second President in Lodge #23’s short history; it is humbling to be granted this position of leadership by so many Brothers and Sisters in the law enforcement family that we call “Lodge #23.” Take a minute to look around our website and if you are eligible to become a member, we encourage you to do so. For more information about becoming a member of Lodge #23, e-mail me at the address listed below.

Fraternally,

Jim Crace, President
